Scratch: "Imagine, Program, Share"

Scratch is a free, web-based application that allows kids of ALL ages, to program ..  "Scratch is a programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music and art - and share your creations on the web.

As young people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively."

Use Scratch in one of three ways (or think of your own way!)

1) Have students use Scratch as their digital storytelling tool

2) Have students use Scratch to Storyboard their digital story using one of the other digital storytelling tools.

3) Embed or link a Scratch 'story' element into one of the other digital storytelling tools.
