    • About the Learning Path

      Two poets

      Nobel in Szymborska and Eliot’s poetry classes are designed for third grade secondary school with an extended cirriculum of English. A series of lessons consists of seven lessons, they correlate content from Polish and English, and IT.

       

      General objectives:

      • improving the skills of analysis and interpretation of poetry works
      • discussion about issues in the poetry of Nobel Prize winners,
      • improving reading comprehension, language skills translation,
      • create your own text such as newspaper pages
      • use of IT, correct use of the Internet resources with the position of the rules of private security,
      • to know about rules of safe use of the web sites, referece article , reference website
      • have an idea about the copyright for digital resources of the Internet

       

      Operational objectives:

       

      The student is able to:

      • Read and understand the contemporary poets’ works
      • Perform analysis and interpretation of that text, according to the instructions given
      • Show artistic means and their function
      • Use knowledge of contexts such as historical, biographical, philosophical
      • Create short newspaper pages
      • Cooperate in group
      • Create multimedia presentations, web pages and compose text
      • Translate short texts
      • Listen to and understand texts
      • Use Skype technology for operational group discussions generated texts

       

      During the implementation classes will use: a piece of text journalistic, poetic texts, the Internet, music
