  • Operating with the computer, printer and scanner
  • Using the network for exchanging files
  • Digitisation of images and digital language recordings
  • Security when handling the web service
  • Operation of programs for word processing, web editing, sound and image processing

  Do the students have sufficient experience in dealing with:
  

  • A word processing program?
  • A spreadsheet?
  • A graphics program?
  • Web 2.0 tools?
  • Research on the Internet?
  • A web editor?

  To what extent are the students capable of collaborating with others in their group?

  • Who has what skills?
  • Who fits into which team (assignment, personal reference, interest)?
  • Which pupils can guide others?
  • Who can take over co-ordinating tasks?

  Do you have access to all the software and websites you will need for this lesson?

  Often, teachers create a list of web resources for their students to use. These resources can be posted on a wiki, a word processing document can be put into a shared drive for students to access or the sites can be printed out and copied for each of the students.
