About the Learning Path

  • Ideas behind the potential use of the learning path

    Station Based Learning can be used in most aspects of the curriculum. It is also a good approach to try and get teachers to think about their practice because it forces educators to think differently about Learning and Teaching.

    This is because the organisation and classroom management skills required for Station Based Learning Activities are different to a more traditional approach (where young people are sat in rows of desks and chairs).

    Some examples of a number of different subject areas where Station Based Learning has been used effectively are attached to this learning path.
